34 yr Old Michigan City Man Takes Son With Him to Meet 13 yr Old Girl
On August 3rd, 2024 Daniel C. Strauss of Michigan City, IN loaded his 5 year old son into the car and drove from Michigan City to Portage to meet up with a 13 yr old decoy girl he met online. Upon arriving at the park where he was to meet the girl one of the members of The NWI Predator Catchers came to Strauss’s car to speak with him. When Strauss was confronted about the meet he initially denied any wrong doing and stated that he was also there to “catch predators” and “to take her home”. During his talks with the decoy he made his intentions clear before the meet was setup. Strauss was charged in Porter County court with a Level 4 Felony Child Solicitation-Solicitation to engage in sexual intercourse or other sexual conduct.
