Investigators say a Kennard homeowner was fatally shot after he answered a knock on his door. The suspect was killed by police hours later in Rushville.
Investigators say a Kennard homeowner was fatally shot after he answered a knock on his door. The suspect was killed by police hours later in Rushville.
“Ms. Jones stated (in excited utterance) she was there with twenty other people and a cousin was supposed to have paid for her meal,” police said.
Anyone with information regarding the woman’s family is encouraged contact the coroner’s office at 219-755-3265.
