MICHIGAN CITY — At the onset of the coronavirus crisis in the United States, a local pantry and resource center held an emergency staff meeting on how to respond.

All occupants must remain in a vehicle and have trunks open, empty and clean for staff to load in groceries.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is due April 15. The state will offer free filing advice Saturday in a virtual FAFSA Frenzy event.
